We are seeking a Specialist, Business Operations for our West Palm Beach, FL office.

This role will work with the business management supporting the Program Management organizations. You will develop and maintain program specific Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) in support of program planning, performance measurement and the overall Earned Value Management System (EVMS).

Essential Job Functions (Including % of Time for Each)

Under minimal general direction, applies expertise to directly contribute to the development of new concepts and techniques. This position exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments. The candidate will perform the following type of activities:

35% - Develop and maintain program specific Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) in support of program planning, performance measurement and the overall Earned Value Management System (EVMS). Ensure compliance with the AR EVMS system description.

25% - Analyze schedule and performance data to evaluate performance against baseline and prepare customer and internal reports summarizing analysis.

20% - Prepare and present recommendations to management based on schedule data.

15% - Develop and maintain projected Estimate At Completion as required.

5% - Maintain auditable records/files of work performed and respond to audits from internal and external sources.


Requires a Bachelor's degree in an appropriate discipline and 10 or more years directly related experience (or an equivalent combination of education and experience).

Demonstrated performance in business operations including a thorough knowledge of cost accounting standards, performance measurement systems, command media, Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and contracting requirements. Advanced verbal and written communication skills and the ability to operate effectively in a team environment.

Familiarity with Earned Value Management principles and proficiency in Microsoft Project software required.

Prior experience working with functional areas to establish project task durations, develop predecessor/successor relationships and identify critical paths for Integrated Master Schedules (IMS).

Experience performing schedule health analysis and DCMA 14 point schedule assessment is a plus.

Exposure to sales/profit forecasting and financial reporting, Experience with Hyperion financial software.

PLM and MPM software experience.

US Citizenship required. Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance at the appropriate level (U.S. Citizenship required). Must also be able to satisfy federal government requirements for access to government information, and having dual citizenship may preclude you from being able to meet this requirement.

May require the ability to travel by air or auto. May require the use of personal protective equipment such as safety glasses, safety shoes, and shop coat. These positions may be expected to work varying shifts and hours to ensure successful operation of activities in the organization.
